To commemorate Star Trek Day on Thursday 8 Sept, Paramount+ opened a unisex salon offering nothing but haircuts from the iconic Star Trek franchise.
“How can we commemorate World Star Trek Day with something new for the fans?” Paramount+ asked us.
Our response: let’s open a pop-up salon called Short, Back & Enterprise – offering iconic haircuts from the Star Trek franchise.
Customers were able to choose from one of nine styles including Spock’s infamous five point cut and Six of Nine’s up-do.
Situated in Brighton – the town with the largest number of Klingon speakers, according to our commissioned national poll – hordes fans descended. Heaps of national, regional and broadcast press drove out-of-this-world bookings.
Local and national press were sent video and image content; with a few live radio interviews taking place on launch day too
