Marking Heck’s 10th birthday, we devised their Future Teatime Classics campaign, giving 10 favourites a 2023 remix.

With 79% of us saying we were in a ‘teatime’ rut, we reinvented some of the most iconic teatime classics with a banger-twist.

Giving a fresh update on some of the nation’s favourite dishes, the sausage maker added a porky twist.

One of the ten reimagined recipes was a “sausage trifle”, a savoury take on the beloved layered pudding. Using piped mash potato, a cheese sauce and topped with proudly upright sausages.

The idea came from original research showing 79% of Brits find themselves “stuck in a teatime rut” and eating the same meals several times a month.

Loads of coverage landed, a 76% increase in search for HECK! on the day of launch, and a birthday well and truly marked.
