72PointPLAY were tasked with celebrating Bodyform’s heritage and 40th anniversary while fostering trust in the brand. Our mission was to educate consumers, build brand love and increase trial of the Bodyform products. A core focus was also generating talkability and maintain a position of cultural relevance, aiming to drive consumers to choose Bodyform over other brands.
The team recreated the iconic Bodyform advert famed for its lyrics “Whooah Bodyform”, with pop princess & X-Factor alumni Ella Henderson. Passionate about instilling body confidence and positivity in young girls and women, Ella recorded the classic jingle with new lyrics to reflect modern women. Ella’s take on the old ad wasn’t the only big reveal, as she was surprised in the studio by her old voice coach – and singer of the original Bodyform advert – Stevie Lange.
The highlights of our coverage include prominent features in renowned outlets such as Sky News, The Independent, The Daily Mail, Yahoo News, The Daily Star, The Daily Express, and The Mirror. These were core media targets for the brand.
