Using data from Trustpilot, a global online review platform, we revealed the first names of the users who left the highest number of one-star reviews.

Trustpilot is the go-to place for many consumers wanting to find out how trustworthy retailers and services are before deciding whether to spend money with them.

Trustpilot users can rate businesses on their experiences and these ratings help other consumers make an informed decision about such companies.

And it emerged people called David have left the highest number on one-star reviews to date.

The brand was looking for widespread news coverage, which was achieved – and some.

Not only was mass press pick-up secured, but the story was also featured on national TV and popular social media.

We worked on a number of projects with Trustpilot with the aim of raising awareness of the platform and securing widespread coverage.

We initially collaborated with Trustpilot on some stand alone projects so they could see what we could do, after those campaigns went well Trustpilot signed-up to a multi-project package.

For each project – including this one – Trustpilot identified particular themes or topics they wanted to explore, and we worked with them collaboratively to develop content which fit the bill for the brand.
