The client commissioned a survey of 2,000 women to find out more about their morning routines and in particular how long they spend deciding what to wear. Our research found that the average woman spends more than half an hour a week choosing what to wear. That’s almost five months of her working life!
We accompanied the resulting news story with an infographic and a voxpop video which our digital team distributed to relevant digital media.

Simon Jersey’s What to Wear story was featured on news sites in the UK and America, including The MailOnline, MSN, USA Today, AOL. The voxpop video as featured on The MailOnline. The infographic was used as the basis for another video made by Newsy, a video news site. This video was then featured on USA Today, MSN and AOL.
The story also made a large number of regional sites including the Scotsman, the Yorkshire Evening Post and many more!
