BHS sparked a nuptial price war yesterday (Mon) - by announcing they will sell wedding dresses for a recession-busting #95.
The outfit features a #45 ivory Naomi bodice and a matching ivory skirt in duchess satin worth #50.
Styles are available off the peg and come in sizes 8 to 22.
BHS will have specially-trained staff on hand to help with sizes and fitting at the 44 stores who will sell the bargain outfit. The range is also on line at bhs.co.uk
The announcement comes just days after Asda revealed the are to offer customers an entire outfit including bride's dress, groom's suit and bridesmaids dresses for just #162.
BHS will sell shoes and a garter to go with the outfit, bringing the total cost to just #140.
Brides can usually expect to shell out around #1,200 for a wedding dress.
Yesterday a spokeswoman for the company said the outfit was perfect for women unable to afford an expensive wedding.
And she added: ''As the country emerges from recession, we anticipate people will still be watching the pennies when it comes to their big day.
